Unintentionally blurry women selling fish at the market in Hoi An at around six am.
In Hanoi after a week spent hopscotching from Saigon to Hoi An to the North with my dad and sister; it is cooler here than in Saigon and we spent Maggie's last day wandering around Hoan Kiem lake in the Old Quarter, which seems like a fun neighborhood to live in for the next month (I'll be staying there while I take my CELTA course). I have many more photos to post soon, but for now should finish my pre-course work for Monday while I still have access to a printer, so, more later, as always.
for some odd reason I just love this snap- perhaps because it is so full of atmosphere. are you loving Vietnam? Meeting Emily at last? I've been twice so far- once to the south, once to the north. A really rich visual palette for your incredible photography skills, yo! Red has never been so, so red except in Vietnam.
ReplyDeleteHey if you're in Hanoi, you need to look up my journalist/artist buddy, Nguyen Qui Duc. Your dad knows him too (of course).
