This year has gotten off to a rough start, which I am trying not to read as a portent for the rest of this year, but at least I managed to get a few more photos of Madrid posted. Am now turning my attention to the rest of the Andalucia photos, of which there are many, many more.
In other news, the Top Model obsession continues. Did you know there was a Canada's Next Top Model, and that it was hosted by my new favorite person in the entire world, Jay Manual? ME NEITHER but oh my god, it may be the best thing that has happened to me all year. It's like watching Jay do his very best Tyra impression in the mirror when he thinks no one's watching and there are photos of him everywhere and oh my god. ALSO: there was a girl named Mika (spelled wrong and short for the very non-Japanese name Michelle, but oh well) and so for one brief shining moment, I got to hear my name being shrieked on TV by a bunch of (Canadian) model-wannabees. This has never happened before, and it was damn awesome. Let no one tell you that there are no perks to staying totally cloistered in your apartment for four days straight.
